3 Weeks Old
I can hardly believe that my little man is already 3 weeks old! He fits so perfectly into our family that time is just flying by!!!
The weather last week caused us to miss the usual two week newborn appointment, but we finally got there this week. Dr. Dixon checked him out from head to toe and, as predicted, he confirmed what we all already know: Matthew is PERFECT! He is eating like a champion and growing like a weed. Here are his 3 week stats:
Weight: 8 lbs. 13 oz. (50th %)
Height: 21.5 inches (75th %)
Matthew has gained exactly 1 pound from his birth weight and has grown 1.5 inches! I can definitely tell that he has gotten longer because his little feet are finally reaching the ends of some of his newborn outfits. I also decided today that he can no longer wear any of his newborn undershirts. They are already too short! I know this stage won't last long, but at 3 weeks old my little guy is long and skinny and I love it!
Here is a picture from his visit to see Dr. Dixon. He was very relaxed and was a perfect little patient, except for one time when he pooped on Dr. D! oops! :)

Happy Birthday To Us!!!
Matthew and I got to share a birthday today! He turned 2 weeks old and I turned 29 again! :) Because of the snow storm we were not able to get out and celebrate, but we did get to spend the entire day having fun with the whole family:) It was a great day!

One Week Old
To celebrate Matthew's one week birthday I took him grocery shopping. While we were there we decided it was a great time for a weigh in! After only one week he is already up to 8 pounds!

Matthew's First Bath
Matthew wasn't a hug fan of his first sponge bath, but he sure smelled good when we were finished. And then he took a great nap!
