Baby Makes FIVE!

I am proud to annouce the arrival of my son, Matthew Harris Jordan. He arrived on Monday, December 27th, 2010 at 10:21 am. He was 7 lbs, 13 oz and 20 inches long. His scheduled c-section birth went smoothly and he came out 100% perfect!

Matthew and I had a wonderful and easy hospital stay. He was eating great and I was in no pain so our doctors decided to let us leave a day early! That was awesome because I was so ready to get home to my girls!

Merry Christmas

We had a VERY MEMORABLE Christmas at our house this year. Besides the snow and added excitement of the baby, Claire was very sick and had to visit the emergency room. She was lethargic, refusing to eat/drink, and miserable. Scott and I were afraid that she was becoming dehydrated. I figured it was safer for me and the baby if I stayed home, so Scott took her. It was horrible to not be with her, but she ended up being sent home after only a few hours. It was not a fun way to spend Christmas day. Poor Emma was such a trooper and made the best of it! She got lots and lots of presents and spent the day playing!

Claire's Christmas Show

Claire's school had a very special Christmas show tonight. All of the kids have been practicing for weeks and tonight they sang their hearts out for all of us. It was so sweet to see her take part in her first school performance. As usual, it brought tears to my ears just seeing her walk out onto the stage with all of her classmates. She did an amazing job and we were all so proud of her. She looked pretty cute too:)

My Girls Love Santa

This holiday season has already been so enjoyable for me. Emma and Claire are TOTALLY in love with everything Christmas and firmly BELIEVE! I love it and I love that they ask me questions when something doesn't seem quite possible. It is so fun for me to share in their excitement and anticipation. That being said I am an absolute nervous wreck inside. I am sooooo scared that I am going to go into labor and be in the hospital on Christmas. I have a very clear plan in place with Scott if that happens, but I just hope and pray that it doesn't. I do not want to take one ounce of the thrill away from my girls and I CANNOT miss Christmas morning with them.

The Dallas Christmas Parade

We love going to the Dallas Christmas Parade every year. We are so lucky that our small town has such a wonderful parade. There are lots of floats, marching bands, everyone throws candy, and of course the parade always ends with a visit from Santa and Mrs. Clause. This year the weather was cold, but it was perfect parade weather. It was cold enough to see your breath, but not terribly uncomfortable if we bundled up. We all had a great time!
