The Q-U Wedding

A few weeks ago we received an invitation to the Q-U wedding in Emma's kindergarten class. As a first time mother of a kindergartener I had NO IDEA what in the world this was, but I was super excited and quickly RSVPed.
The Q-U wedding ceremony was exactly that. Emma's class all participated in the forever union between the letters Q and U. The ceremony was held in the cafeteria and parents and friends were invited. The first grade classes also attended. Each member of Emma's class was part of the wedding party and the ceremony was just like a real wedding. It was so cute!!!
After the union all the kids did the usual precession out of the cafeteria. Then Mrs. Mcguire switched the music to Hannah Montana and they all came back in dancing behind the bride and groom. They danced around a while and then the bride and groom hopped in their Escalade and drove out of the cafeteria and back to the classroom for the reception. Did I mention how stinkin' cute this event was???
The reception was just as adorable. Mrs. McGuire (who is 9 months pregnant) had the room beautifully decorated. She also had favors at everyone's seat and a huge wedding cake, punch, and snacks. Before the bride and groom cut the cake we did the usual wedding photos:)
